bringing with them a wealth of experience in enterprise-wide derivative trading, risk management and operational processing applications. All
are bottom line results-oriented “hands on” managers, motivators and team leaders. Each of the founders has earned
the respect of their customers, superiors, peers and subordinates through leading by example, excellence of execution, commitment
and strong team play in successfully delivering leading edge solutions.

Tim Cockerill – President, CEO and Co-Founder
As President and Co-Founder of o3, Tim Cockerill has leveraged his leadership and management skills in developing large scale
trading systems with emerging market technologies to create a firm with a highly disciplined approach for delivering practical
solutions that help financial institutions meet their business and technology objectives.
Prior to forming o3, Mr. Cockerill
worked with several leading financial institutions including Societe General Group, Merrill Lynch and Standard & Poors in
delivering firm wide real-time, front-to-back office trading solutions for Derivatives and Treasury trading operations. In
addition to providing guidance and advisory services to many of o3 ‘s
clients, Mr. Cockerill has also participated in several highly visible system and technology initiatives at firms such as
FannieMae and The World Bank.
Mr. Cockerill is a former Lieutenant in the US Naval Reserve and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from The State University of New York Maritime College. |

Nigel Simpson – Director of Consulting Operations and Co-Founder
Nigel Simpson co-founded o3 after a career spanning over twelve years successfully designing, customizing and implementing integrated
state-of-the-art trading, risk and portfolio management systems for leading market participants including such firms as Societe
General, Merrill Lynch, Citibank, Lehman Brothers and Smith Barney Harris Upham.
As Director of Consulting Operations,
Mr. Simpson has the responsibility for driving the consulting practice by providing strategic business, operational and tactical
technology guidance to front, middle and back office, risk and accounting areas focused on derivative
trading (fixed income / equity / credit), treasury and structured finance markets.
Mr. Simpson’s practical
domain expertise spans a broad spectrum of functionality including trade capture, pricing, market risk management, real-time
credit monitoring, credit risk analysis, documentation (inception, confirmation, payment), sub and general ledger accounting,
settlement, market data, counterparty static, audit controls, collateral management, STP and cash management.
Mr. Simpson holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of the West Indies.

Sanjay Vithlani – Director of Technology and Co-Founder
Sanjay Vithlani co-founded o3 after a career spanning over fifteen years successfully designing, developing, implementing and
integrating enterprise-wide trading, risk management and operational processing solutions at leading financial institutions
such as Westdeutsche Landesbank (WestLB), Societe General, Merrill Lynch, Barclays de Zoete Wedd, and National Westminister
Bank.
As Director of Technology, Mr. Vithlani has the responsibility for advising, overseeing and providing technology guidance
for o3 engagements and integration initiatives spanning front, middle and back office, risk & credit management operations. He
has deep domain experience with leading vendor derivative trading & risk products, rdbms vendors, data warehouse solutions,
infrastructure software providers, and market data providers.
Mr. Vithlani holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, University of Bradford, UK and a Masters in Computer Science from University College London (UCL). |

Harvey Rand – Director of Sales
Harvey Rand brings 25+ years of direct sales, marketing and leadership experience in the Capital Markets and Derivatives Trading arena to the firm. He has successfully initiated, grown and managed global sales organizations in a number of software product and financial consulting services firms including Summit Systems, Principia Partners, Fusion Systems Group, Sybase, Thorn EMI Computer Software, and Chase Electronic Banking Systems.
As Director of Sales and Client Relationship Management, Mr. Rand oversees new sales opportunities as well as o3’s growing client base. He is fundamental in aligning current and evolving client requirements with the professional services the firm is providing for derivatives trading and structured finance solutions spanning front / middle / back office operations, accounting and regulatory requirements. As an entrepreneur, Mr. Rand is charged with assuring o3’s direction closely maps with leading trading technologies, applications, and evolving markets. Mr. Rand has an undergraduate degree in marketing from the City of New York’s Bernard M Baruch College and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University. |
