BUSINESS ANALYST
Description:
Business analyst needed to assist with a Derivative Trading Systems implementation for a
large financial firm’s treasury business. This
person will be required to work with various functional areas of the business (front, middle and back office operations) and the
firm’s technology team during many stages of the project.
Responsibilities:
- Documentation of existing business workflow, procedures, roles and responsibilities
- Definition and setup of core static data
- Creation of functional specifications used to build core functionality
- Creation of functional specifications used for in-house development of reports, interfaces and extensions to the Derivative Trading
System
- Data migration from in-house core systems
- Comparison of Trading Systems analytics for valuation and risk
- Security Access definition and setup
- Integration testing definition and execution
- User acceptance testing definition and execution
- Parallel testing definition and execution
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years working experience.
- Calypso / Misys Summit / Murex / Sungard / Principia knowledge required; static data setup, trade entry and maintenance, analytics & workflow.
- Familiarity with OTC, Money Market, Bonds, Exchange Traded Instruments, Deal Payments, Structured Trades,
Market Data.
- Familiarity with products should include Swaps, Swaptions, FRAs, Caps/Floors, Deposits, Loans, MTN, CP,
MBS, ABS, FX Spot, FX Fwd & FX Swap.
- Business knowledge of fixed income products and derivatives required. Strong product knowledge
of Money Markets, Bonds and Interest Rate Derivatives.
- An understanding of Risk Management a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Strong interpersonal skills. Must be willing and able to work closely with others in a fast-paced,
complex development environment.
- Interest in working with a high-growth, high-visibility Company whose product defines the cutting edge of financial technology
worldwide.
- Experience with MS Suite; Excel, Word required. Visio a plus.
